Briefly about CAVINPublisert 06.03.2008 Christian Association for the Visually Impaired in Norway (CAVIN) is an interdenominational organization whose administration is located in Askim, Norway. There are employed 12 persons totaling 10 full-time positions. The total turnover equals NOK 6,5 millions yearly. CAVIN’s core activities besides its audio library, are CAVIN’s audio newsletters aimed at children, youth and adults. CAVIN also holds camps for members of all ages, offers counseling, written publications (with a circulation of about 6000), large print and brail publications, activities on the internet, is considered a body entitled to comment in public matters, and is a central partner with the Norwegian State Church in cases related to handicapped people’s situation in church and society.
